Park Road, East Molesey

The owners of this really nice house in East Molesey wanted to open up the kitchen/dining area and add an extension giving them a fabulous living space for their family. The original kitchen was poorly planned. There was a huge, solid block column dominating the space which became quite oppressive. Working alongside a trusted structural engineer colleague, we managed to conceal the new supporting beams within the floor void giving nice, clean lines to the ceiling. The German kitchen looks stunning in a combination of matt black and white and timber finishes facing the dining area.

The owner has an amazing vinyl record collection from his DJing which he wanted to display if possible. I designed a window seat unit around a new picture window with bespoke shelving to accommodate the record collection and it’s a cool place to chill with a book and glass of wine!
